Dear Friends,
We would like to thank you all once more for making the ISAM 2011 congress a great success. 364 delegates from 25 countries participated in the congress held in the Doelen in Rotterdam. The evaluation scores made clear that the congress was highly appreciated. The scientific program put together using the structured input of the membership organized in scientific groups was of excellent quality. Many of you felt and enjoyed the energy brought on by the many talented and very active young researchers. We all greatly enjoyed the lively discussions each evening at the posters.
Last but not least thanks to the sponsors of the congress, for your active participation and contributions. This greatly contributed to making it a financially sound congress as well. As most of you are aware of, the proceedings of the ISAM congresses are necessary to support the ISAM office.
